Charlotte County to process property transactions online with Realauction

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Sep 25, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- The Charlotte County Justice Center is known for utilizing the latest technology to serve its citizens. Clerk of the Circuit Court Barbara T. Scott is a champion of that trend, and has selected RealForeclose to process tax deed applications and foreclosure sales online.

Recent changes to Florida Statutes have enabled Clerks of the Court to hold foreclosure sales online. Counties throughout Florida are no longer limited to just those bidders who can physically be present at the sale.

Realauction will conduct training and orientation sessions for bidders with complete instructions regarding use of the online system. Realauction also provides a toll free number to their customer service team to answer any questions that arise.
