Continuous 24 hour operation of the Charlotte County Clerk of Court's web site is our goal, however, access may be interrupted during periods of routine maintenance or circumstances beyond our control. Maintenance will be scheduled to occur nights or weekends between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 am.

Services

Official Records downloads are available on a weekly basis to subscribers. Criminal Data downloads are available on a monthly basis to subscribers. Subscribers are responsible for all maintenance and repair on their own equipment and for connection to the Clerk's download online applications.

Clerk's Obligations

Clerk will provide limited consultation via email (casweb@co.charlotte.fl.us) on specific problems or questions that arise in the use of downloading Criminal Data and Official Records. Assistance will be available Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with the exception of Charlotte County or Court holidays.

Subscriber's Obligations

The subscriber will ensure that access to Criminal Data and Official Records Bulk downloads will not be made by unauthorized users. Information accessed from the Criminal Data and Official Records Bulk download website is for the use of the subscriber only and is not to be represented as the official governmental record or made available for commercial resale.

Termination

The Subscriber Order may be terminated without cause by either party with fifteen (15) days written notice to the other party. The subscriber remains responsible for payment for services and obligations incurred until the date of termination. 

The Clerk may immediately terminate any subscription to protect the contents of public records from unauthorized access, alteration, or if the security of the website has been breached.
