The Court Calendaring System will
enable the clerk's office to easily schedule those individuals who
have requested a court date or their citation requires them to
appear in court for Denials or No Contest court appointments.
Some of the new features of the
Court Calendaring System include: |
|
Automatic Scheduling of Judge and Courtroom
The Court Scheduling System can
automatically assign judges, courtrooms, State Attorney
Representatives and Public Defender Representatives according to
the type of plea and available court date. |
|
Witness and Victim Management
Witnesses, Victims and Law
Enforcement Agents are maintained on file for current or future
use. The Witnesses, Victims and Law Enforcement Agent(s) which are
obtained at case initiation off of the traffic citation or
accident report information, will also be displayed in a selection
table menu. |
|
Law
Enforcement Information Table
The LEA table will enable the clerk
to record any type of leave of absence due to vacation, illness,
school, etc. These recorded dates will automatically compare
against a scheduled court date and will prompt the clerk to a
conflict in schedules. |
|
Automatic Reporting System
Reports such as Subpoenas, Court
Appearance Notices, and Notices to Appear can be generated at
initial input or case initiation. These reports can then be saved
as file images attached to the case docket. |
|
Docket Documents
Subpoenas, Notices To Appear, Court Appearance Notices, traffic
citations, officer notes, fingerprints, photos or any other
scanned documents attached to the individual case can be accessed
from a table known as Docket Documents. |
|
Calendar 'Widget'
A monthly calendar window will display court dates for No Contest
and Denials in different colors so that the clerk can easily
double click the mouse on the particular court date and display
all court appointments for that day. The clerk can then display a
docket listing of all the defendants for that court appointment,
modify the court appointment information itself ( i.e.: a
courtroom change), or print docket reports for each court
appointment in single or batch form. |
